Reduced-Order Combustion Models for Innovative Energy Conversion Technologies (RECOMBINATION)
Outline: This project aims at developing predictive tools to support the implementation of novel combustion technologies that combine high efficiency with very low pollutant emissions. A novel approach for treating turbulence/chemistry interactions in the context of Large Eddy Simulations (LES) is developed based on Principal component Analysis (PCA) together with nonlinear regression techniques.
